!Buried 6 miles North East on U S 151, Columbia, WI. He & Jane and their 4 children came to the U.S.A. in 1849 abroad the Forrest Green. Daughter Catherine, died at the age of 7 during crossing.Evan James mother was Scotch and father was a Welch farmer. Their Wis. home burned in 1851 while they were away attending a funeral. All was lost, but the older children saved the twin babies.
